These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "user") and Live Barter LLC ("Live Barter," "we," "our," or "us") governing your access to and use of the Live Barter mobile application and the livebarter.app website (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the Service.

Live Barter is a platform that facilitates bartering — the exchange of goods, skills, and services — between users. Live Barter is not a party to any trade between users. We provide tools including listing creation, community groups, and an auto-calculate feature to help determine fair barter quantities based on market values.

When you list an item or service on Live Barter, you represent that you have the legal right to offer it for trade. You are solely responsible for accurately describing your offerings and setting a fair market value.
Our auto-calculate feature provides suggested barter quantities based on the market values users assign. These suggestions are intended as a helpful starting point — both parties must agree to the terms of any trade before it is finalized.
Live Barter allows users to create and join communities. Community creators may set rules for their groups. By joining a community, you agree to respect its guidelines. Live Barter reserves the right to remove communities or users that violate these Terms.
The Service — including its design, features, content, and branding — is owned by Live Barter LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.
By posting content (such as listings, photos, or profile information) on the Service, you grant Live Barter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the Service.
Live Barter offers a free "Guest" tier that allows you to create a profile, list up to 2 items, and connect with neighbors. We may offer additional paid subscription tiers with expanded features in the future.
Any paid features will be clearly disclosed before purchase. Pricing, features, and subscription terms may change, and we will notify users of material changes in advance.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Live Barter LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to damages related to trades, lost profits, or loss of data.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Live Barter (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Live Barter LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though provisions that by their nature should survive (such as limitation of liability and indemnification) will remain in effect.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Maury County, Tennessee.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the Service.
